Meanjin/Brisbane petalcore outfit Torizon fuses heavy metalcore elements with pop hooks and prog flourishes. Unafraid to explore the full spectrum of human emotion, downtuned riffs, propulsive rhythms and vibrant synth arrangements weave the group's immersive, modern soundscapes. Cascading melodies shapeshift from raw vulnerability, fierce intensity to cathartic screams, courtesy of dual vocalists. 

Their latest release ‘Meliora’ has seen major traction, earning support from Music Feeds, The Music, Apple Music, triple j, Unearthed, Backseat Mafia, Ramona Magazine, 4ZZZ, Radio Adelaide, Edge Radio, SYN Media, 2SER, Three D Radio, PBS FM and more. Following the EP's release, the band embarked on a successful headline tour, wrapping up with a packed hometown show. 

Taking cues from luminaries like Evanescence, Northlane and Bad Omens, Torizon have established themselves as one of Queensland’s finest heavy acts. Their high energy live show has seen them perform alongside Circles, Valhalore, The Last Martyr, Days Like These, These Four Walls, NTH RD, AM//PM, Last Words, Wallapalooza and more. 

Back in the studio recording new music and hitting the road in between, Torizon is gearing up for a busy year ahead.
